Good morning America, good Sunday morning to you. So great to have Rianne and Alley with us. Thank you. I'm super excited to be here. Thanks for sitting in for with this morning. We have a lot of news to get to, including the breaking news overnight. President Trump's so-called big beautiful bill clearing a key hurdle in the Senate. A look at the next steps coming up. Also, I had our look ahead to the next phase of Sean Diddy Combs' racketeering and sex trafficking case. Jury deliberations are set to begin tomorrow. We will have our legal contributor. Tell us what we can expect. We will, but we do begin here with the big getaway for the 4th of July. Millions of Americans heading out for the holiday week, but the weather is making a mess of travel plans.

Meteorologist Greg Dutra from our Chicago station is tracking the weather, but we do begin here with Faith Aboube at LaGuardia Airport. Good morning, Faith.

Yeah, good morning to UGio across the country. Some air travelers were starting their holiday

travel with some hiccups this morning. Nationwide, there are already hundreds of delays and

cancellations on the board. And flight aware showing Delta Airlines is experiencing the

majority of the issues as it continues to recover from weather impacts.

This morning, a new round of storms taking aim at parts of the country, threatening to dampen travel plans for millions ahead of July 4th celebrations.

All the flights are canceled. We can't get another flight back.

The FAA expecting this week to be the busiest in the skies in 15 years.

And AAA project a record 72 million Americans will travel at least 50 miles from home.

I totally didn't anticipate this weekend being the holiday weekend,

figuring next weekend after the 4th.

This is one of the largest U.S. carriers, Delta Airlines is experiencing significant operational disruptions.
