Well, last Tuesday, a morning commute in Brooklyn

turned terrifying in the time it takes to go just one stop.

Police are responding to a shooting on the subway

system in Brooklyn.

Authorities say James put on a gas mask yesterday morning, deployed a smoke canister and began shooting fellow passengers.

At least 10 people were hit, 20 were injured, 5 of the victims were kids heading to school.

The other door to get into the other cart was left.

So we were stuck from the cart and there was blood on the floor.

Miraculously, no one was killed, but this is an extreme example of the kind of violence

officials in New York City say is becoming all too common so let's dig into this and

spend five minutes with CNN's Bryn Jingrass she raced down to the scene in

Brooklyn right after this happened first of all Bryn mayor Eric Adams and the police have

been saying you know for a while now that crime is up violent violent crime is up, gun violence is all up.
