special time we get together.

If you listen to my regular show during the week, it's an hour-long show, normally with guests,

but we've added this Sunday edition just because we can and we want to, and it's been a precious time.

As I like to say, grab a little cup of cozy and let's snuggle up and just have some

deeper life conversation. These Sunday editions are quite a bit shorter. Usually run about 10, 15

minutes or so. I just want to snatch your time for a little bit. If we could just lean in and just

have some time to ponder the way Jesus is leading us, the things he's calling us to. And I want to talk today about developing

a habit of hope. We are walking our way a little bit at the time through my devotional,

waking up to the goodness of God, 40 days toward healing and wholeness. And, you know,

habits are really something. You know, I was at a speaking event recently, and it was really something because I showed up so weak.

I had experienced warfare like I never have in my life, and I've battled some pretty significant warfare before events.

I felt almost incapacitated by this battle before the event, even to the night before.

So when I showed up to speak that next morning, I felt the prayers of the saints because I put an

SOS out. But I honestly, if I'm honest, I had tears just under the surface. I felt very

trembly, so fragile, honestly, very,

very dependent on God, which is always a good thing. But I got up to speak that opening session,

and I wasn't ready. Like, I really could have just fallen apart. So I just was honest. And I said,

I've just got to be honest with you. I'm walking through some stuff and it's just been quite a week of warfare, and I need to strengthen myself and the Lord.

And so I'm going to do what I do at home, and I hope you don't mind. I'm going to open my prayer

with just praying the scriptures. And I said, the word of God is living and it's active. So maybe you can just

close your eyes, open your hands, and let this word pour over you because the word is like seeds.
