what he has to say to us. Today I want to talk about what we accept and what we reject.

If we go along through life and just kind of see life as a series of reactions, like we're playing

whack-a-mole, just reacting, reacting to the things that come our way.

If we're not careful, we'll accept the wrong things and we'll reject the wrong things.

We'll accept this is always the way it is, you know.

We'll reject the hope and the promise that God is a miracle-working God.

Now, I don't want to confuse acceptance with godly contentment. Scripture says,

you know, godly contentment is great gain. Like, there is something, let me say it this way,

and I've said it before on past shows, there's a big difference between surrendering to our

circumstances. I'm just going to accept, it'll always be this way. This thing runs in the family.

I'm just going to accept, you know, surrendering to our circumstances versus surrendering to God in our circumstances.

To me, the latter is the one. That's a more biblical faith. It's saying, you know what? This is where I am

right now. But this place does not define me. I don't live here.

I am passing through my eyes on the prize, my eyes on Jesus, and whatever he allows, he

redeems, he will deliver me from this season. So I reject that I'm a defect. I reject rejection. I reject fear and doubt and worry. I reject

hopelessness. Those things don't belong in my heart or on my mind. I accept God's love.

I accept his promises. I accept believe and receive the premise that God delights in every detail of my life.

And you've heard me say this before, but Dr. Lee Warren, who joins me on the show every month,
