Live from ABC News headquarters in New York City, this is Good Morning America.

Happy Sunday to you. We are getting excited here for the U.S. Open, including Venus Williams,

making her return to the tournament. But first, we do have a lot of news to get to Canada's

government moving to end the strike by flight attendants. The late word this morning on when

those air Canada flights could resume. And Ukraine's President Zelensky is headed to Washington for his meeting with President

Trump.

Other European leaders are now invited to attend, even as Russia launches more strikes on Ukraine

overnight.

Yeah, the stakes are great for that.

But we are going to begin here with Hurricane Aaron.

Here's a look now at the storm last night.

As a weather reconnaissance squadron flew into the hurricanes,

eye look at that image right there.

Hurricane Aaron weakened to a category three hurricane overnight,

but still remains, of course, a major hurricane.
