So welcome to our Rosary meditation.

Today we were at the Western Wall or Whaling Wall in Jerusalem

where every Saturday the Jews flood the area to celebrate the Sabbath, which for them is the most important thing in their religion.

Now if we bear in mind the immense importance attached to the

Sabbath for the Jews, then it could have only have been an event of

extraordinary magnitude, something earth-shattering that could have led to its change.

Because the Jewish Sabbath celebrated the first creation, but with the resurrection of Jesus on the 8th day,

Jesus brings about the new creation, transferring the Sabbath from Saturday to Sunday.

With every Sunday, we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus from the dead and we celebrate the

beginning of the new creation. So let's begin in the name of the new creation.

So let's begin in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Jericho. Now the New Testament presents us with a new covenant. It's not one which contradicts the old

covenant. In fact Jesus said, think not that I have come to abolish the law, I have come not to abolish it, but to abolish it, but to fulfill it.

But that fulfillment involves a transformation.
