All right, I do want to remind everyone about our prayer meeting that's happening on the 7th of October at 7 p.m. here in the sanctuary

So if you're able to come out and attend and join in some corporate prayer, please do so.

We all know that we need to be praying and attend and join in some corporate prayer, please do so. We all know

that we need to be praying and praying and praying. And so pray about that prayer meeting.

I pray that to be one of those prayer meetings that is for the books, if you will. So why don't

we pray to that end? On Sundays, we have two services. The first service is normally

dedicated to a prophecy update. Second service is dedicated to the sermon where we're normally

in the book of Revelation. But for today, our first service, I would ask that you join me in

the book of Luke. Chapter 14, beginning in verse 25. Again in the book of Luke chapter 14 beginning in verse 25 again the

book of Luke chapter 14 beginning in verse 25 and I will also ask all who are able

to stand to do so for the reading of the scriptures this morning followed by a

word of prayer.

Luke 14, 25, and the Word of God reads,

Now great multitudes went with him, speaking of Jesus, and he turned and said to them,

If anyone comes to me and does not hate his father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters, yes, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple. And whoever does not bear his
