And we just heard from Ritchie Sunak standing outside to her Downing Street in the rain.

Earlier today, I spoke with His Majesty the King to request the dissolution of Parliament.

The King has granted this request and we will have a general election on the 4th of July.

There is a Prime Minister announcing that he is going for a summer election after all.

And ultimately setting out his stall on the idea that it was going to be about economic stability.

As about we talked about on the podcast of Fraser earlier, this all seems to be hinging on those inflation figures.

James, do you think the optics to begin of that speech went as number 10 would have liked?

Absolutely not, no. I think they're standing outside and the pouring rain

were being haunted by Steve Bray, someone who's berated Tory governments for five years playing

the New Labour Anthem, things can only get better.
