I'm like, dude, I go to bed at like 830. Probably a little, yeah. You should have taken advantage of it. I know, but what was I going to do? Hey guys, episode 149 fresh off the plane. Welcome back. Yes, I, oh my goodness, you guys, today was a nightmare travel day, trying to get back to Denver. I thought I was getting back earlier on this afternoon. Jeff was going to pick me up and then we were were gonna do the podcast recording earlier, but because of storms, we kept getting delayed in Charlotte and then when we were in Denver, we couldn't land, they made us go to Albuquerque and then go back because they wouldn't let any planes land because of the weather here. And we were just up in the sky forever. My kids were being so bad on the plane. And I just want, you know, when you're just over it, I'm like, I've been with you guys for like 12 days. And I'm ready just to send them off to you. All right. That was Jordan's little rant. Sorry, this is Tuesday, like Jordan said,

this is coming out probably a little bit late. If you're listening to this on Wednesday, but it's the day before and like Jordan said, we're recording pretty late. She just got off the plane and- So excuse my mascara, smeared. And excuse my makeup. No, you always look good. I still have makeup on from work. But when I wear makeup too long, my eyes get like blood shot.

I can't stand it.

So I need to go, we all need to go take a shower, relax,

They missed the neighbors so much. So it's good for them to be back. But how was your trip? It was so much fun. All of a sudden. you through Instagram. You've been doing like a little journey.

I have. It was so fun. If, if you ever have the flexibility time to do it, you should. I wish I would have, well, I would say wish I would have done it sooner, but the kids were younger than it's a lot easier traveling with them now because they get excited because they packed their little travel bags and they carry it with them and they feel cool and they like setting up any every place we stayed at. They would like put it up, put things up like it was their house, like their hat, any of like the bracelets, seashells, anything that I bought them on the trip, they like put it up and organize everything and they love it. So we first started our trip because people kept asking and this is not an ad I paid to stay there. I've been going to, it's the Marriott Grand Dunes and North Mertle Beach. Well, we hear back up a little bit more. So for my birthday, for those of you who don't know, we kind of did some back episodes before we left. And for my birthday, June 5th, we flew out to go see my family. And that was a Thursday. So we stayed with my family. That was very nice. My, you know, my family got to see the boys. They don't see them that often other than FaceTime. So the 6th, 7th, I left the 8th, which is a Sunday, because I had a work on Monday. Jordan stayed one more day in Chicago, which was the ninth.

And today is the 17th.

And today is the 17th. This has come out on the 18th and you've been gone since the ninth, which seems like forever. I wanted to stay till like the 24th. I wanted to stay longer, but you were like, that's way too long. Don't you think it was getting long towards the end? Eight days is a lot. I was having so much fun. And just when you're at the beach, it's just so, it's so relaxing.

It's so laid back. Did not wear makeup. Maybe I only wore makeup, I think one time.

Actually, a wore makeup in Chicago. I didn't wear makeup at the beach.

Lived in my bathing suit. Everyone asked me when you were gone.

They're like, how many times is Jordan going to wear makeup? I'm like, I don't know probably one or two. I got to wait till she gets back

Nobody cares how many times it is. No, it's just It's just being at the beach and like who wears makeup at the beach some people do and get ready like me and my mom It's she so she's worth the same that we would just be in our bathing suits some like what do you want to do and we would just get like grilled cheeses and split them and then eat

and then let the boys play. And then we would just stay out on the beach till eight o'clock at night. And then we had a little routine that we did with the boys. So I always had them in bed by nine o'clock, 9.30. They would go to sleep. Then when we wake up, they want to go out on the beach.

We would go out on the beach starting at like 9.30 in the morning. All right, go back to like we, and you ended the trip and then went to, on the ninth, you know, to the brand new. Okay, so on then. Keep it in chronological, we'll knock this out. Okay. back. Monday, you flew back. Yeah, I flew in to Myrtle Beach, and we stayed at the Marriott Grand Dunes, because people kept asking me on Instagram, please share where you stayed. I've been staying there since I was in high school when my parents were married, and it's wonderful. The bartenders at the Cove, That's like where you get your food and drinks, all of that. They've been there for years and it's so nice because you can sit by the pool and you can order your food there. They have water slides, hot tub, you're right on the ocean and I just would rent beach chairs on the beach. So that's the only place like Or you could get food by the pool. No, it's just my favorite spot because in North part we stayed there back in the day I mean like How long ago? I always go there 15 years ago and it was very quiet. No, I was wondering why it was so quiet there. And they, I didn't realize kids were just getting out of school over there. I mean, we've been out of school since May. Yeah. And so, um, is so if you ever need a family vacation, stay there because what's great about it is it's a North Martle beach. So you're not far from where you need to go. Like there's barefoot landing because people asked Broadway at the beach and there's, you got to go to famous King's Pizza, that's where we went. And then this is a little further out. Real quick, I heard I was talking to some people at work, I don't want to interrupt your story, but they were saying we get out so early because it gets hot in Denver and they don't have
