So here we are smack dab in the middle of summer, and I realized we have not covered sun safety this year on the podcast.

It's something we try to talk about every summer on PEDA cast because it's important.

We all need reminders about the dangers of the sun and how we can protect ourselves and our children.

While at the same time acknowledging the sun's goodness in our lives, sometimes we have the tendency to focus on the danger without thinking about the good

as well. And the bottom line, we have not done that this year, at least on the podcast. I have talked

with the Central Ohio television audience about sun safety and sunburns and sunscreen on a 10 TV,

our local CBS affiliate.

And of course, I've talked about sun safety with lots of families in the exam room.
