Well, what an awfully lot of things we've got to talk about?

We've got the Paris summit going on between Emmanuel Macron and Rishi Sunak.

I'm not going to make a big thing of the fact that they're two of the shortest leaders in the world.

We've got a lot of short leaders in the world, apparently. But there is some kind of special relationship going on.

Anything that happens there, by the way, during the course of the next three hours, we will bring you.

They're having a summit, of course, amongst other things to talk about why nobody wants to talk about Brexit anymore. Apparently the EU are fed up listening to people talking about that, presumably,

because they've got other things to think about.

Like, for example, their ridiculous reliance on Russian gas in order to keep the place lit up.

It comes out just as the Telegraph reports that we're going to be spending something like two billion pounds now on hotels to actually house illegal migrants in this country.

This is the week in which Rishi Sunak announced through Suella Braverman, a new policy which is

going to stop the boats.

That seems to be the slogan for the moment.

But are they going to stop the boats?

I mean, the weather's been awful this week, and still they come in their thousands.

And it could be that as many as 80,000 people come this year alone.
