Hey guys, welcome to the Conversations that Matter podcast I am your host John

Harris and we don't have a specific list of things to go over today I just

wanted to give you all a personal update of what's

happening in my life, especially for those who are supporters, and what you can

expect this summer. I know that I didn't put a podcast out for Monday or

Tuesday and I may skip another day or two this week and so I just

want to let you know why that is and kind of what's going on that led to that

and kind of give you a peek at other things that I'm going to be doing this year

because there's going to be big projects that I'm involved with that may end up

taking a little bit away from the podcast. We'll see. I try my best to keep the

podcast going, maintain it as much as I can, but there might be weeks. It's two or

three episodes instead of, you know, five or six. So one of I let you know first though the weekend and what happened and

really how grateful I am for all of you I was able to fly to a church southern

Baptist church that needed consultation, education about what's happening in the Southern

Baptist Convention and I really gave them a lot of information very fast.

So if someone was not initiated, man man they got thrown into the deep end I would say

Which might be a good thing we need I think more of this and doesn't have to come from me but we need laymen who are willing to educate themselves on what's happening in their denominations whether it's SBC, PCA, Lutheran, whatever and then make decisions about what that means for their church should they stay should they leave is there a way to hold the

denomination accountable so these are the kinds of questions that this particular church was asking

and hopefully my presence there I'm sure it helped to some extent I think that

this is something though that a lot of churches are wrestling with more and more and more and

it's because of your generosity, honestly, and support and prayers and everything that many of you and this audience have done that I'm able to do this kind of thing to go to a church and help them navigate this to some extent.
