poet, author, writer, journalist, podcaster, musician, artist, I think I've got it all in there and we talk a little bit about his life and some of the new work he's got out which I think is well worth exploring.

Appreciate it. So a lot of recent stuff has come out from you and I don't know. Where should we start?

You've got a book with you and right coming up. I think it's a kid's book following in the in the

the footsteps of Marcus Rashford, I guess. Tell us about that and then we'll go into some of your other stuff.

Thanks, yeah, really excited. So the book is called Striking out, it's coming out in September, early September,

and I guess as a shortcut, it's almost imagine better like Beckham was actually in the book

so it basically features Ian as he is now so 57 year old Ian it's obviously a fictional story, but it's basically a story where

Ian has a chance meeting with a brilliant young footballer from East London who is

struggling to make it and they end up getting on really well and Ian's like you know what let's

see if we can help you make it both on and off the field because Ian sees a lot of
