Summary
When we make Jesus our Lord and Savior, He washes us clean and places His robes of righteousness and purity upon us. As we walk in Him, we walk in purity. We cannot have a pure heart without Him. Having a pure heart also means keeping our hearts soft and free of bitterness when hard times come. Guarding our thoughts will help to guard our hearts. As we keep our hearts pure, this will be a way that others will see Jesus in us.

| 0:31.0 | Let's start with the word pure. If something is pure, it is without stain or blemish. |
| 0:37.1 | Pure water is clean water without chemicals or dirt. Something that is pure is holy. There is no evil or sin. To be pure is to be like Jesus. |
| 0:46.6 | Jesus is absolutely 100% pure with no sin, no evil, no wickedness. God is pure, he is holy. But who can say that they have a pure heart? Can you say you have a pure heart? |

| 1:47.0 | So to be pure in heart, to have a pure heart is also to have a heart that strives to please God that does not |
| 1:57.1 | hold lies or deceit or envy or jealousy or pride. A pure heart is a heart that is soft and longs to do what is right and tell the truth. |
