We're here with a classic.

This is a classic. It is the 1997 film. I know what you did last summer.

This happens to be the first R-rated movie I ever saw in the theater.

Oh.

I was 11 years old.

My babysitter got me into the theater.

We went with her boyfriend.

Nice.

And I immediately loved this movie. This I was thinking when I was

watching this like Kevin Williamson was so everywhere and good and his writing style was so influential that it was just like

everyone was writing in this kind of like what is it called like meta kind of self-referential of whatever genre

they were in. Everyone wanted to copy Kevin he was his writing was very it was like self-aware in a way we hadn't seen before.

This movie and Scream obviously like have so many iconic moments who would have known that these two films

would go on to become classics?

Well it did become so worn out because so many people copied it that you forget the impact it had when you first saw a scream.

It was hilarious that this guy was talking about horror movie tropes in the movie.

Yeah.

It just was so funny and it obviously like most things like that just gets completely

one into the ground because everyone copies it.
