and enjoy connecting with some new friends as we gear up for the fall semester.

founding director Greg Mott and former director Ben Stewart and former worship leaders Jeff

and Jordan Johnson. It's going to be a great time, so I hope you track with us for the next

Well, I am sitting here with Greg Mott, Senior Pastor of Houston's First Baptist Church.

Greg, thanks so much for taking time to chat today.

Sure, my pleasure.

It's a huge privilege just to get to spend time with you.

Greg was the first executive director of Breakaway. He was actually the

director of Breakaway when I was in college. And I tell people that of all of the pastors I've

listened to, the person that I remember the most is Greg, because you were speaking truth into my life during those important

college years.

And so my favorite lines were, there's a big difference between a Christian boy and a godly

man.

And I remember when you were teaching John 15, you talked about correcting storms and perfecting

storms. God just gave you this amazing ability to package truth for me and the other thousands of people sitting and read. So this is fun to get to just sit with you and think about how God used you to impact my life.
