Please turn with me to 2 Corinthians chapter 3, starting at verse 12.

Having therefore such a hope, we use great boldness in our speech and are not as Moses,

who used to put a veil over his face that the Sons of Israel might not look intently at the end of what was fading away, but their

minds were hardened.

For until this very day at the reading of the old covenant the same veil remains unlisted because

it is removed in Christ.

But to this day, whenever Moses is read, a veil lies over their heart.

But whenever a man turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. Now the Lord is the Spirit and where the Spirit of the

Lord is there is liberty. But we all with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror

the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory,

just as from the Lord, the Spirit. Now since February we've been talking about love. And this summer we're talking

about seeing and showing Christ.

And the question is, how did these two things relate to each other?

Because for me, the greatest of these is love

is still being written as a banner over this message and the ones that

follow.

You know the answer to that question.

You can answer it very easily.

What does love have to do with seeing and showing

Christ? And the answer is, if we love each other, if we love our enemies, if we love our neighbor as we love ourselves,

if we love like last week with heartfelt tender family affection, if we love those who do things

we don't like, who make choices we don't like, who act in ways we disapprove of, if we love them, the world will see Jesus.
