Today on the podcast, we're going to be covering this week's episode of Summer House.

It's episode 10 of the season.

Now, the scandal happened last week, actually, when I was recording the Summer House recap or episode last week.

The news came out that Amanda and West were having the stallions. They released a joint statement.

And we saw the joint statement as I was at the end of recording last week's Summerhouse episode. So it was all breaking news. But in retrospect, it is so crazy that Amanda and West released a joint statement because I'm thinking about the mechanics of that. Did they use the Bravo PR or did they use personal PR? How did they decide to get together to do a joint statement?

And then they sort of just went MIA. I think like West finally posted maybe yesterday or something,

a post on his Instagram where he was like with a friend or something acting like nothing happened.

But there's like this whole scandal that's going down behind the scenes of Summerhouse.

And it really reinvigorated the show in a lot of ways,

because I'm seeing so many people who had never watched Summer House, they're reaching out to me and be like, where do I start? Where do I begin? No, of course, I always think you need to start from the beginning. If you can, if you have the time. But if you don't have the time, I still think you need to start from my personal opinion is like starting from the

COVID season because that I think is like one of the only shows that had a good COVID season because

they locked them all in that house and just started rolling tape. And that was good. Everybody was going

nuts in that house. And so it was good TV. And that's, I think, when we had Hannah and Paige and Luke and Sierra was there. And so I think

you really get to know the players, but I would suggest starting as early as possible. I don't like this whole idea of like, we're on season 10 in real time. I don't like the idea of like, oh, I'm going to start with season nine. It's like, get the fuck out. Electric chair. absolutely not what do you mean you're going to start with one season? You're not going to be a...

Then I don't even want to hear your opinion on it. Like, then I don't... Then you shouldn't even be allowed to give me any sort of opinion on what's going on Summerhouse if you're just starting from a season back, because you don't know. We've been in the trenches with these people. We were here from the beginning when one of the

twins was throwing a watermelon in the house. And if you don't know what the fuck I'm talking about,

then go back and watch. And yes, that season, the early seasons were kind of bad of Summerhouse,

I believe. But I don't want to hear opinions on the whole Summer House scandal if you just,

like, just started

tuned in this season or you went back three episodes and watched. It's like, get out of here
