The Welcome back to the Pure Cinema Holiday Edition. We are meant to be on summer holiday

and yet somehow we are here recording for you.

I don't know, but I do know that I have a drink in my hand, so I'm definitely in summer mode.

We could not stay away, and we got something kind of special on our hands and so we decided that we couldn't wait

you know another month before giving this to you guys and especially some people who are going to be

super interested um so we decided to make kind of like uh when comic books would have runs that

have that like special spotlight issue or that uh kind of you know extra fat uh issue that kind of comes out of blue uh so for us that's

going to be this episode right yeah we i mean we were originally planning to drop it and you know

three or four episodes into season two but then we talked about it and we're like this one

this one feels like it should go out

sooner.

Yeah, so part of what we did is, if you follow either of us on anything prior to even this show's

existence, you will know that we both have a real love for the label Code Red video.

It's, I guess my catchphrase occasionally on Shockways was that it's like, you know,

it's the island that Cinophiles wash up on once they think they've seen everything.

Like you feel at a certain point, like you've seen all, you hear criterion films and you're like,

okay, I've seen it all.
