We're going to jump right in here, Dr. Sam Scott, who has kindly given us clearance and actually asked that we call him Sam. So we'll be calling him Sam throughout the episode. And let me tell

you a little bit about Sam. So Sam Scott holds a PhD in exercise physiology and has clinical and applied research experience in diabetes, obesity, and continuous glucose monitoring technology, which we are going to talk about.

His primary research focus has been on developing strategies to overcome the major

barriers to exercise for people living with diabetes. For over five years, Sam was the head of

research for team Nova Nordisk, the professional cycling team consisting of athletes living
