before she was Home Secretary Sir Weller Braverman, but this is way before she was Home Secretary and we talk about the ERG which obviously she'd been deeply involved in

This is I mean we obviously had a general election at the end of 2019.

There's eight months before that and this feels like, again, so much happened just in that year, let alone since. Like I'm

I keep saying every episode, this feels like it was a completely different era,

but the reason I'm saying that is it's so odd given how recently this was.

And so when I'm a brotherman, I remember thinking this on the night, very different to how you'd

imagine.

And obviously she has a political persona which all politicians have

she dispatches her political duties in a particular way but her personal

side which often when you're home secretary you're holding a big office of state like that or just some politicians don't like to show that at all.

So I think you'd be surprised at Sue Weller Braverman's personality when you listen to this interview and it's just another fascinating example of how when you give people time and space and you're genuinely interested in them and you've got

an audience there you really want to hear what someone's got to say, people do relax and people

are themselves and that's one of the things that I love about doing

this show is instead of they are politicians but first and foremost the people and I'm really

interested in them as people obviously I'm interested in in them as people.

Obviously I'm interested in the politics as well and that forms the whole point of the show really.
