I'm Nick Miles and at 13 hours GMT on the 19th of April, these are our main stories in Sudan.

We start in the Sudanese capital Khartoum.

Where black smoke has been billowing up into the bright blue sky.

The sounds of heavy gunfire there and explosions were the wake up call for people there yet again as fighting between the army and a paramilitary group has continued.

More than 200 people have been killed in about four or five days of fighting and many more injured.

A large number of residents have now started fleeing the capital.
