I'm here today with Kim Renfrow to talk about succession.

Heck yeah, nowhere else I'd rather be on a Sunday night.

Now I do want to say that as we're recording this and broadcasting this live right now at

youtube.com.six decoding TV, my neighbor decided to choose this exact moment to pressure

wash the walkway outside of his house.

So if you hear some weird sounds, that's why.

Also my neighbor is much larger than me and more stronger and therefore I do not want

to question his wisdom in pressure washing his house.

So if you hear any noise in the background, that's what's going on in deepest apologies.

Those who have followed my work for a long time know that any bad sound quality is unacceptable,

so hopefully you'll accept this temporary, you know, laps in my potential sound quality.

All that to say that today on decoding TV, what we're going to be doing is reflecting

back on succession, the legacy of the show and specifically answering a bunch of the biggest

unanswered questions that have come up since the show ended.

There have been a lot of interviews that have been given by Mark Mylett, who directed

the series finale, Jeremy Strong, people have written tons about the show and we've reacted

to the finale live and I just think, you know, when you react to finale live, there's

a lot of energy and excitement but also a lot of stuff you don't get to, you don't get

a chance for that stuff to marinate to think about it and so we wanted to record at least
