Fashion icon, philanthropist, TV host and author Jean Shafiroff continues her drive to motivate charitable giving among more people across the world. The name Jean Shafiroff is synonymous with philanthropy and fashion. Named the “First Lady of Philanthropy” by Hello and Hola Magazines, Ms. Shafiroff has heard her calling and uses her vast professional and personal network to bring aid to individuals and organizations in need.
Jean Shafiroff’s philanthropy and advocacy spans far and wide, both in regional, national, and international positions, in order to make sure that the causes she finds dear and deserving have a voice that resonates with donors, influencers, and those who rely on these charitable organizations.
Shafiroff is a board member of several charities including the French Heritage Society, Southampton Hospital Association, NYC Mission Society, CoutureCouncil, Southampton Animal Shelter Honorary Board and Global Strays, a charity founded by her daughter which helps and protects animals in Latin America. Jean is active with the NY Women’s Foundation and considers women’s issues a priority. She has been honored by countless charities just some of which are the American Heart Association , American Cancer Society, Stony Brook Southampton Hospital, NYC Mission Society, the Hadassah , Surgeons of Hope, Southampton Animal Shelter, the Ellen Hermanson Foundation and even Al Sharpton’s National Action Network .
