I'm the host of the Blessed and Blessed Up podcast and a CEO of Anchor Media.

In today's video, I just want to talk about something that frustrates me and that's really

choosing between family and choosing between business because it's always that question

of, can I have both?

I read a lot as you guys know and lately I've been reading a lot of autobiographies.

And in these autobiographies, I hear the stories about the mom who has sacrificed herself

so that her children can live their dreams.

The mom who's living vicariously through their children because they had to give up their

career in order to take care of the home and the man goes out and makes the money but the

woman stays and keeps the home and all of her dreams go to the back burner.

Like we've heard these stories time and time again.

I'm rereading them in these biographies but I've also heard it a lot in conversations

with women, especially women of an older generation.

It's just expected that you give up yourself for the success of your family.

And one of my goals with my life is once it's all set and done for me, when I get to the

gates, I want to know that I did everything that I was born to do.

Like I want to die empty.

I want to get my well done that I completed the mission of who God saw before he formed

me and my mother's womb.

That is my goal.
