Let's dive right into the message you know by the way I get this question a lot

How do you monetize a podcast I want to get advertisers I want to get sponsors no you don't and that's not even today's message

But let's just start with that no you don't

Because when you have advertisers and sponsors your show tends to kind of not be your show

It's more of hey, let's make sure this jives with the advertise make sure they like it and by the way with the podcast specifically

Unless you plan on getting more than 10,000 downloads per episode which would put you in the top 1% of podcasters out there

Then advertising sponsors is really not it's it's no bueno is not gonna happen you know so focus on if you want to monetize your message

Focus on creating a product creating an offer that's very easy to understand and we're gonna talk about that
