Welcome to Rules for Retrogrades. I'm your host Timothy J. Gordon, and this is my YouTube channel.

A little bit about myself. I went to both law school and graduate school, corresponding with the two

purposes of the show that I'm going to explain for you a little bit. I have two areas of expertise.

I went to law school not to practice law, but to study the constitution at the best

law school I could find to make a serious dive into constitutional studies, and I did so.

Also, I have a master's degree and a licentiate in Aristotomist philosophy, and I'm working on a doctorate in Aristotomist philosophy.

The reason I didn't get the doctorate and I went to law school instead was because my daughter

was born there in Rome where I was studying at the Gregorian Pontifical University, the first

Jesuit school in the world under one of the world's most famous Tomas. Came back here, went to law school, did a bunch of other things like start this podcast,

and now I'm finishing the doctorate that I hoped to complete in Rome. You'll see how this

plays out in the two purposes of this show. Catholic perspective brought to the secular world and a faithful

tomistic perspective reintroduced into the church. I have six kids. I have a lovely wife,
