Well, turn with me this morning, if you would, the scripture that we've been looking at for some weeks now, in the book of James, chapter four, James chapter four.

The Bible said in verse six, but he gives more grace.

How many would like to have some more grace?

Oh, yeah.

Wherefore he says God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.

Who gets the grace?

Not just everybody.

The humble.

To be humble and meek does not mean to be weak.

And it's sad that so many people don't understand what humility is.

Even in church, so many times what people are calling humility is actually a form of pride.

Because they're actually proud of how humble they are.

I know that sounds strange, but it's, well, that's not humility.

That is pride, religious pride.

One word that this has been a study of mine for, oh, I don't know, 30 years, this topic of humility.

Because the Lord spoke to me as a teenager and showed me, I think I've told you before, but in Numbers 12, 3, I was going to read the Bible through, and I'd

gotten from Genesis to Numbers, and I'm reading, and I got to Numbers 12, 3, and it said,

now the man, Moses, was meek above all the men that were on the face of the earth.

And when I read that, the Lord spoke to me.

I don't mean I heard an audible voice.

I didn't see anything.

I'm talking about inside me.
