The importance of having style and not just any style, it's style that's authentic to you that feels true to you is important because it represents trust.

If you take care of how you look, you take care of how you are. That means that you trust yourself and that means others can inherently trust you.

And the reason I'm bringing Sandy onto this podcast is because we are entering a world that is becoming more and more visual.

Whether it's the iPhone 13, which I'm carrying with me right now, which is basically one of the most advanced cameras in your pocket,

or the fact that almost any business owner or CEO or coach needs a presence on social media, the way you look in photography and your style matters.

Now, I want you to know this has nothing to do with age. One of Mind Valley's authors, Mae Musk, is 72 years old.

She has gray hair, and she flaunts her age and her hair, but she knows how to come across as her best self.

What we're talking about has nothing to do with the quality of your skin or your body shape.

Rather, it has to do with how you come across in terms of your style.

And style today matters. I just saw a quote from an investor.

This was I was shared widely across Instagram and the quote said, I will not invest in any company whose CEO does not get social media.

And this is something that I prescribe to as well as a belief when it comes to investing.

I want to make sure that the CEOs I work with know how to speak clearly, know how to articulate their message,

and also come across as elegant, powerful, confident, and have a sense of style in their photography, in their news articles, and on their Instagram.

This is why today's topic is so important and why I've been looking for a while to bring a style expert to Mind Valley.

So many styled channels on YouTube mainly run by men, and it's so exciting to see that men's style is growing in popularity.

I love watching these channels. I've learned how to groom my beard, how to comb my hair, I've learned about men's skin care.

And fascinating fact, but men's skin care is so rapidly growing.
