Welcome to House Church. My name's Alex Wilson, and we are in a series on time within another series in our Ecclesiastes study here, and it's been going pretty good. Today we're going to

talk about stuff. So I have this

old Japanese K truck and we, a couple of my friends put a lift on it like two inches and then

not too long after I was going up the mountains to a wedding that I was supposed to lead. And on

the way to the wedding, it sounded like one of the tires just blew off, like fell

off the car.

And I was like, oh, no, we were going around a sharp turn.

And we hear something slam.

We go outside.

We see the axle had fallen off.

And it was because of the lift.

I didn't know that at the time because I don't know anything about cars.

But then we said, okay, how are we going to make it to this wedding? Just at the right time,

the bride comes zooming around the corner and I had to ride with the bride to the wedding. It was

really embarrassing. And then not too long after that, you know, the truck was gone and done sitting in the grass for a long time.

And then a couple of my friends said, you know, we're going to try again, get a new axle, throw it on.

But we didn't take the lift off.

And so we put it all on and I drove it for probably eight minutes and the same exact thing happened again.
