We've been all for a few weeks, but we're back.

And we're partially back because of the constant reminders and nudges of one Robert W. Cross,

and the title of this space is the dog days of summer because good lord the storylines are both the storylines or lack thereof or storylining

we are seeing so we see this every single year the season ends and so the

season ends you know NBA champions are crowned after that's the

draft and we spend time discussing okay who's getting picked who's not getting

picked where's your team getting picked if you're the Knicks are they gonna

make a pick then after the draft is free agency who's getting signed and

this year's free agency was actually a more

much more exciting than years past free agency kind of like died after 2019

especially in the era of the supermax contracts and people just and and stars just signed the extension

asking for the trade later. So you have that.
