Taking some time to study abroad can be a very eye-opening thing.

It can be an experience that changes who you are, especially if you start having

paranormal experiences on that trip.

In our next story, we hear of a young man who decided he was going to go study abroad in Italy,

start the year out there between Christmas and New Year's and then spend the rest of the year there.

Learning, experiencing, and having a time of his life while also having some unforgettable experiences with the not so living.

I was living in a old hotel that served as our campus in the city of Florence, Italy, so it definitely

had some history to it.

A lot of people came and went through it, and I know that from spending the night

and there alone in between semesters. I would go into

the city waiting for the summer semester. We had a couple of weeks off and I was the only one of my friends in town and after having a few beers I decided to go into what we call the villa this old almost six-story hotel.

So it's all starting on good. He's out, he's on his own. He is experiencing

another part of the world in a very historic place, a place with tons of history, including the very building that he's in.

And then some ominous signs start coming up the more he investigates his new surroundings.

The road is named after an author who wrote a book regarding heaven, hell, and earth

and all that fun stuff in between.

However, you could hear footsteps, and I was too scared to even go up to my regular room which I'd slept in for almost nine months at that point I was too scared to go up just two flights of stairs to the second story and sleep in the room I'd slept in. I stayed downstairs in the

student center near the front door and you would hear footsteps walking through

the dining room and it just sounded like typical hotel traffic and it was really hard to go to sleep

because I kept waking up thinking someone was walking into the room. Prior to that I was at the front door on the computer with my back to the door in the
