Remember the book of Hebrews was written in 68 AD.

Temple was burned in 70 AD.

The writer to the Hebrews is writing to the priesthood in the temple,

and they had a problem.

Many of the priests in the temple in those days

believed in Jesus, but they were also firmly entrenched in temple worship. Temple worship 24-7.

Something was always going on at the temple, whether it had to do with the actual sacrifice,

various ritual cleansings, mech vat, various observances, prayers, festivals, whatever.

There was something going on 24-7 at the temple.

The problem was at that time, and it's really an amazing thing to discover something like the book of Hebrews
