We're going to talk about Pentecost as one of the Jewish festivals.

The amazing thing about Pentecost is that it's the festival without a date.

And in fact, it is not tied to phases of the moon, as all the other Jewish festivals are.

And it's very, very significant that it has no date.

In fact, it wouldn't be right otherwise.

It has to be the festival without a date.

It's a surprise festival.

And the Jews have always kept the festival by staying up all night.

And that brings us to the second chapter of Acts.

120 believers had prayed for, now you can say 10 days, but it could have been two or three

days less than that.

It might have been seven days.

They had prayed.

And they had selected Matthias as the 12th apostle to replace Judas.

Then we read in Acts 2, and when the day of Pentecost was fully come,

they were all with one accord in one place.

What does that mean when the day of Pentecost was fully come?
