Hebrews.

Last week we looked at Hebrews 6.

Now usually when I go through a book, I just go Hebrews 1-1, 1-2, 1-3,

and just write on through a book.

But I skipped to chapter 6 because there is a focus in Hebrews chapter six that really gives us insight into what this book

is all about. In fact, what this book is about is what it takes to be a good Christian, which is

always a question among Jews and Gentiles alike.

How good do you have to be to be considered a good Christian?

Which seems like an off-the-wall question, but it's not.

It's one of the biggest debate items in the world. Among Christians, they argue about,

you have to do this, you have to do that, you don't have to do this, and the other group

says, no, you've got to do this and that, and at least one of these and some of those.

So what do you have to do? To be a good Christian. By the way, and how do you have to do?

To be a good Christian.

By the way, and how do you define the word good

in that sentence?

That's heavy theology right there.
