We have been looking at scripture and picking out some of the outstanding portions of the

Bible, what I've been calling the top chapters of the Bible.

And last week we looked at Matthew 24 and part of Matthew 25.

The reason that I've ranked it as one of the top chapters in the Bible is because it is Jesus' commentary on Daniel 9.

Daniel 9 is the central prophetic chapter in the whole Bible, and Jesus comments on it, Matthew 24.

And in Matthew 25, of course, as we noted, you have the ten virgins, and they represent Israel.

We have the bridegroom and the bride going into the wedding chamber, the wedding chamber being locked up, all of which is a picture of the tribulation,

God's understanding and care for the Jews during the tribulation,

and God's relationship with the bride during the tribulation.

She's entirely missing, that is, she's already in the wedding chamber and out of the way

by the time that tribulation hits.

And so that is the essence of all Bible prophecy, Daniel and

I, Matthew 24. Today I wanted to go to another top chapter which is related to Daniel

9 and Matthew 24, and it's related in a very special way.

Deuteronomy 32 is what we're going to be looking at today.

And Deuteronomy 32 gives depth to Matthew 24, which we looked at last week.

At the end of the books of Moses, Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy,

at the end of the books of Moses, as you draw to an end, you come across

a remarkable series of prophecies. Deuteronomy 29, 22, talks about the last generation.
