Today, I'm going to do something a bit different.

I'm going to start with 1st Corinthians 15 and begin a study of what I call the Bible's top chapters.

I started out by thinking of this as maybe the top 10 chapters in the Bible.

But then as I started looking, you know, you can't limit it to 10.

So I'm just thinking, let's study the top chapters in the Bible. And by top, I mean the ones that

have the most impact on our lives immediately. And 1 Corinthians 15 really, really is an amazing chapter in the Bible.

It has 58 verses.

We're going to try to cover all 58 of them in an hour.

I think we can do that.

The fascinating thing about 1 Corinthians 15 is that it points to the single central fact of our faith.

What is it that distinguishes Christianity?

If you consider Christianity to be a religion, which I do not,

but if you do, what separates Christianity from all the other religions of the world?

And there are hundreds of religions.

But Christianity is the only one that has a singular feature that none of the others have.

It has the promise of resurrection from the dead and eternal life in a resurrected body.

No other has that single feature.

And that's astounding.
