And now, here's Gary.

Last week, Peter, the Rock, delivered a discourse as we studied in 1. Peter 2 on the Rock

of Our Salvation.

And it's really an interesting play on words because Peter was originally not called Peter

at all.

His name was Shemayon or Simon, son of Jonas, and he grew up in Copernium, a Jewish fisherman. I'm sure he was

literate in the sense of the scriptures, and I'm sure he attended what was a major synagogue there

in Copernium, but he had no idea what was going to happen to him later in his life when his name

was changed to Peter by Christ who said of him you are going

to become a rock and in this discourse Peter says not only did that happen to me but it's happened

to all of you because he calls us living stones who are coming to a living stone, which is Christ.

Now, to review just a little bit, Jesus is called the Stone of Israel, Evan Yisrael.

And he is a prophetic figure.

Daniel prophesied of him saying that he would come and dash to pieces the

fourth kingdom, a stone cut out without hands. He is called, as we noticed last week, the Evan

Bohan, which means a stone that has been polished, It has been shaped perfectly.

The shaping was done by the Father in heaven.

And then the stone was Bohan.

It was tested, tried, and proven.
