Revelation chapter 9.

We went through Revelation 9 last week.

And you could probably go through it several weeks in a row because there are a number

of things we haven't touched on in Revelation 9 that I wanted to touch on again. Chapter 9 has to do with the fifth trumpet. And we're

going to be reviewing all seven trumpets next week. Today we're going to be talking about trumpets

five, six, and seven, which are called the Three Woes.

Revelation 9-1, the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven under the earth,

and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit. This star is a he, which we said last

week. He has a key.

Now, we're talking about something real here.

There's tendency, I think, when you study the Bible at all,

to sort of turn on your Winnie the Pooh, mine.

You know, you've got Eey, and you've got Pooh and Tigger and all

these characters that are doing all these things and it's a fun story to read but in your

heart you know that Winnie the Pooh is not real. It's just a story. Well this is real. This is not a

story. This has characters. It has a character here.

I'm sure this character has a name. Bible calls him a star. In cheap imitation of scripture,

Hollywood actors and actresses are called stars. Staring role, big star.
