And now, here's Gary.

Last week we sort of looked at the raptor through the eyes of Israel, and we saw that in the

Old Testament the prophets speak of a time in which the church would not be around.

The flat fact of the matter is that Bible-believing Christians are Israel's best friends today. And if Bible-believing Christians were

suddenly to be taken off of this earth, it would precipitate the sort of instability that you can't

even imagine. The Bible talks about it as the great and terrible day of the Lord. Isaiah

describes it from Israel's point of view, and he says, the righteous perisheth, and no man layeth it to heart.

In common English, that says the righteous have disappeared, and no one can understand it.

Merciful men are taken away.

Jeremiah, speaking of this same time, the time Jacob's trouble, says,

all thy lovers have forgotten thee. They seek thee not. Everybody's gone. Anyone who

would be there to help you. Micah, chapter seven, speaking of this time, says the good man is

perished out of the earth. That means the righteous man has disappeared. Perished is

translation of the Hebrew Ovid, which means to disappear. Poof. And there will come a time

when the church disappears. Poof. And I really believe that. And as strange as it sounds,

as strange as it, I mean, you can't even imagine it, particularly

from the other side.

If you can imagine being one of the people left behind, that's got to be an amazing time

to live.
