I'm Laura Maxwell, a journalist based at the BBC in Glasgow.

Now, we're in the last couple of weeks of the election campaign and politicians are continuing to promise voters

perks left, right and centre. But what about those who are in the middle? The homeowners,

the parents, the ones looking after kids and their ageing parents? Has this election spoken to them?

Or are they simply too busy getting on with stuff to pay all that much attention?

To talk about this today, I'm joined by.
