And I'm about to get you caught up on all of the morning's proceedings here at federal court in lower Manhattan.

As Sean Diddy Combs is essentially fighting for his life with some really horrific bad facts, as they say, being flung his way from the government star witness, Cassie Ventura, who is on the stand for the second day here, direct examination, continuing.

There was talk that direct was going to be over by lunchtime today. No way that's happening.

They are going to continue direct after lunch.

I have a feeling it will certainly go through the end of today, even possibly into tomorrow.

And then the cross will begin.

And speaking of the cross examination, that's actually where we began this morning.

And that's because the government took

issue with Sean Diddy Combs defense team, Mark Agnifillo, Brian Steele, and others who are

representing Sean Diddy Combs, along with Tenney Garragos, Mark Garagos's daughter. Well,

they have four text messages that they want to introduce into

evidence.

I guess when a certain door was kicked open over the last couple of days.

And so they want to introduce text messages.

And the government said, hey, what's the deal?

Why are you holding on to these?

We need to show this to Cassie Ventura ahead of her testimony during cross-examination.

And the defense's argument was essentially why would we show you these text messages ahead of time right now so you guys can prepare her properly.
