is Debbie Lewis, and I'll introduce her in a second. She wrote a book, and we're going to talk about

the contents of that book in a second. But Debbie, welcome. So glad you're here. Thank you so much for

I'm going to read the bio, sweetie, and then you do the next thing. Debbie Lewis holds a BA and an

MA in English and creative writing from the University of Wisconsin, where she was a recipient

of the Eudora Welty Prize for Fiction.

Her short fiction and essays have appeared in more than a dozen publications.

Debbie is the author of Kitchen Medicine, How I Fed My Daughter Out of Failure to Thrive.

In 2005, Debbie's second daughter's birth began what would be a nearly decade-long journey through the confusion and inefficiencies of modern pediatric specialty medicine.

Debbie lives in Evanston with her husband and two teenage daughters.

She runs a small website, design business, enjoys cooking music, and playing the old-time fiddle.
