Well, we all know that the caps got their doors blown off by Colorado on a Monday afternoon at home.

But to me, Michael Jenkins, the sign of a championship quality team and a championship caliber goalie is how you respond to that.

And the caps have responded.

They put Ilya Samsonoff in. They had a big bounce back wing against Toronto, big win against the Rangers. Now they start their road trip. 5-3 win in Chicago, 5-3 win in Calgary. That's the way you want to see them respond to a really bad game against a really good team when you were tested, and they have responded. I'm so you mentioned Brayden Holby because there's so many things you can talk about when you look at this game against the flames. And that's sort of, to me, sort of the sneaky storyline is that here we are back on schedule, whereas a week ago it was, oh my God, you know, people were freaking out aboutden Hoppey. Is he done? Is Samson off the guy?
