Turn with me, please, in the holy writ to Psalm 37.

If you didn't bring a Bible with you this evening, the ushers have extra Bibles.

We'd be glad to let you use one of ours.

Hold your hand up real high, and they'll get one to you and turn with us to these

places let your eyes rest on them it's a way of showing respect to the Lord and it'll just get in

you better this way it's a way of reminding yourself that these are not just the words of men

but the word of God.

And if you respect it and believe it, it works in you powerfully.

Psalm 37, let's pray before we go further and agree together for utterance and ability to receive.

Father, in the name of Jesus, we agree together as touching and asking for utterance right now.

Revelation of truth and light and life, the free moving of your spirit and your

holy angels in our midst.

Give us, Lord, utterance.

I'm asking speak through me so that we hear not a man but you.

And give us all eyes and ears to see and hear in a heart, mind, open, ability to receive and understand. Give us answers for things going on

right now, direction for what's coming up next, an unfolding of your will and plan.

Remind us of things you've shown us in times past, anything we let get by us or let slip.

And we purpose not to be hearers only, or to ignore it or to treat it lightly or slightly,

but to be doers, doers, put it into practice and live it and do it by your grace

and help.

In Jesus' name, amen.

Amen means so be it.
