It's now the middle of January, Scott. Marcus Drummond officially signed. Last episode we talked about the rumors were very hot, hot and heavy. The Yankees were hot and heavy with Marcus Stroman. And then less than a day later, he officially signed. So we'll talk about that news. We're going to break down some bullpen numbers for some guys and just, you know, just chat for a little while. Just relax and chat. What's going on? What's your hat say? Oh, I'm glad you noticed my hat. You hadn't noticed it since we've been prepping for the show. It looks like men's before. Okay. It looks, it looks like it says it's not. It's not. There's a basketball net behind it. So there's your first

hint that it's not Mets. It's a Nets hat. And it's a corduroy net hat that I believe, I just found in the bottom of a box of like, you know, stuff that I've kept from my, from my childhood. I don't know why I was in like an archive box though, because it's a really, it's a very comfortable hat it's a sweet hat it's

corduroy and uh i think my brother and i got these hats because now my my youngest brother has one

at university of oregon and i we have like a group chat and i said a picture i was like look what

i found to my my two my two brothers and um he pulled out the same hat i I'm like, what? How do you possibly have this? So my brother, Tim, I think we got this in a game in like the 90s at some point. And I think it was like one of those giveaways when we went to the, this is, I'm going to date myself. Holy shit. The Brendan Burner Arena. It might have been continental honestly at that point, but it was

it's a great hat. It's a New Jersey Nets hat. So I stopped following the Nets when they moved to Brooklyn,

but growing up I was a pretty big Nets fan. And but yeah, this so this is, this is, it's now going to be

a staple because it really fits well it's nice and comfortable and

warm that i mean you're not dating yourself that much like when did the nets move to brook

yeah but they were in they were in newark before they were even in brooklyn so i don't know what

year they left the meadowlands but that's that's how far you got to go back the 2012 2013 season is when they first played in

brook okay well and they were in newark for however many years bottom line this hat's from like

1995 so it's uh it's pretty old and it's in really good shape good it's got a single like look at

the back of it single snapback have you ever seen No, I don't think I've ever seen that. Yeah. Single, single piece of plastic or single, single, single, or no, I've seen single, I've seen single, but it looks like a very thin single. It's a very thin. single. I've never seen a, this is the only one that I've seen. But they probably saved, you know, 11 cents a hat by doing that.

If that. If that. Durability. But again, it's held up. You know, sometimes those little, those little nubs will pop off given time. These, these have not. So could that have been like a cap night at a net scale? I think it was. Maybe something you bought. I think no I don't think it's anything i bought i'm pretty sure i got

this half for free i don't remember the exact circumstance i got this half for free but i'm pretty

because because my brother has the exact same one we never really bought things at the uh at games
