If it's okay with all of you, I'd like to reflect a bit on that interesting, illuminating, a ballot of the nurses,

on the pay deal that their union, the RCN, recommended that they accept it,

and a majority rejected it. I think it has wider implications about the state that we are in.

And although I will, as ever sound calm, just remember health warning, it's an act. I'm a cross about the state that we're in i can't remember

a time when we have been in such a state so i'll do that and then we will go to your brilliant

questions uh even more brilliant than ever actually there's something about that labor ad that

triggered a range

of different takes and reflections. Won't have time to read them all out, but they have wider

implications about the art of leadership, the art of projection as an election draws nearer.

So we will return to your questions.
