There's now no doubt that we're going to see a lot more strikes this winter.

NHS nurses will be taking industrial action in the roll-up to Christmas.

Is that a way to treat the people that's caring for the patients that we need to look after

and for the people of our populations? No, it's not.

It's absolutely not, and something must be done about this.

The list of workers who are either striking or seriously thinking about it seems to get

longer every week. So far, a majority of the public seems to support them,

but Rishi Surak's government is still sticking to its anti-union stance.

Meanwhile, the Prime Minister says he's going to reset Britain's relationship with China.

Now let's be clear, the so-called Golden Era is over.

All this goes with the grain of Rishi Surak's re-law to plan, which reportedly,

and somewhat cringingly, is called Operation Get Huff.

Should we laugh or take it seriously?

We are facing what fans of political cliché might call a winter of discontent,

with nurses, rail and mail workers, and more, all due to imminently go ahead and take strike action.
