We've been in a series called stride.

Now in this series last week, we talked around this idea of striding versus striving.

Everybody say striding.

Now this word striding, what we're speaking to is this idea of trying to do it on our own.

This idea of running, of being busy, of doing more, and I want to read this definition

for you.

It means to exert oneself vigorously to try hard.

That sounds a lot of our lives.

There are a lot of areas that as we look at it, that maybe we're striving.

We're reaching for promotion.

We're reaching for something.

We're packing our schedules full.

A lot of us are running and we're going through life striving for different things.

We presented this idea that maybe God has a pace for grace.

That maybe there's a different pace.
