As you guys see from the title, today we're talking about stretched by spirit and we're coming from the book of Job chapter 2

verses 5 through 6 in verse 13 so grab your journals now I don't know about

y'all but me and my friends and even my pastor at church on Sunday have been talking about how stretching this season is it is a season of new for us, but it's a stretching season because it's just like as you step into new seasons as you step into new

levels of purpose and new environments and new places that God has called you to

you must be stretched beyond what you've been comfortable with what you've been

used to so you're being stretched to a new person and it can be very

uncomfortable because in your previous season you had figured out how to steward that

season and we love when God tells us that he's doing a new thing

we love when God releases a promise to us we love when God reveals to us that he's

elevating us and taking us higher but what we sometimes feel to realize is that with elevation, with new seasons, with going higher and what God is calling you to, it requires a stretching.

It requires you to also go higher spiritually, you to also go higher emotionally and mentally

it requires you to become a new version of yourself to step into that new you can't

put old wine into new wine skin so every time God gives you a word and

every time God reveals to you a new season or a new promise, just know that that new

thing is also going to require a new version of you in order to maintain or sustain that thing that God has released in this new season.

Another thing that God has been showing us in this stretching season is that it's

stretching because it doesn't only stretch you spiritually
